Well I like it, I love wolves. But if its a yip you want, first you should of given the wolf a drop shadow. without a shadow he lacks Depth, you want to push that background back.

I think the background looks excellent. You obviously put a lot of effort into it and paid a great deal of attention into the details. It reminds me of ancient ruins done by *thinks* ... that... um... optical illusion guy who I can't remember the name of. >.<;

I agree with howlinglobo, you need a shadow. When you first sent it to me, I was only taking a look at the background or I would have said the same thing. I think if you do another like this, maybe try shortening the legs and lengthening the tail. Wolves are a bit lower to the ground, I think. The way it is right now looks good but it feels disproportionate to me.
